On July 4, 2012 . . Orange Township, Delaware County, Ohio hosted its community with the 8th Annual Independence Day Celebration. A 5K Run was followed by a parade beginning at Little Bear Golf Course, traveling north on Old State Road through the various subdivisions of the community. The race, as Rosie stated, was "hotter than 'Blue Blazes' "! We did, however, have the support of many of our neighbors . . cheering us on. Rose Anne and I ran together for this race and competed with 249 runners in the 93 degree heat. . . still a great start to the Holiday activities!
