Updating the blog . . . This will require quite a few postings, as our activities and noteworthy events didn't subside, only the blog author became negligent in posting new and pictures . . shame on him! Here we go! Remembering April . . . April 2 was my first performance with the "Singing Buckeyes", a 90 minute show at the Columbus Museum of Art, with 46 men on the risers. Rose Anne thought the music selection and performance was very good. April 4, our Butler Bulldogs finished NCAA Basketball Runner-ups, two years in a row, an accomplishment few schools can match! April 9, Bob & Rosie completed the "Dam Fool 5 Miler", by sloshing through the wooded trail, crossing Alum Creek Dam, climbing 'the hill', and finishing the extended race, which was 4 miles last year! April 10, we joined our friends, Rick & Sue Claypole, in our first Medallion Club golf outing. However cold & windy, it was fun to share some time on our new links with each other & our new friends. April 15-16, Ted traveled to Lima OH to join his barbershop chorus friends as the "Singing Buckeyes" chorus competed in the JAD (Johnny Appleseed District) spring contest. While finishing third in the top classification, the chorus increased their score from the last 3 contests. Our contest set incorporated a "western theme" singing "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning" and "A Little Patch of Heaven". "Yahoo"! Rose Anne had a busy month at Pioneer ending with a Business Town Hall meeting toward the end of the month. Easter Sunday, April 24, we enjoyed having Wes & Jennifer and Jim & Ann Dane with us, at home in Lewis Center. Ted travelled to Indianapolis on April 30 for Aiden's First Communion at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. God Bless Aiden, Mindy and Chris.
