"Houston . . . . Here come the Butler Bulldogs!" Coach Stevens "let the Dawgs loose" in New Orleans last week . . .and was rewarded with a double chest bump following a 61-54 victory over Wisconsin taking the Men's Basketball team to the "Elite 8"; then a 74-71 overtime win against number 2 seeded Florida to take them to "back to back" appearances in the "FINAL FOUR"!

"Nana, let me take your picture!"

Nana spends a "spring break" day with Riley, Alexis, and Cara! Lunch, shopping, and a movie makes for a good day!

It will only take a "few seconds" . . . Bulldogs are getting ready for the "Sweet Sixteen" Two games . . two last second plays and Butler is headed to New Orleans!

Presents, friends, and family at Jennifer's shower!

"A weekend of Showers" We travelled to Indy Friday evening in a steady rain, enjoyed a nice dinner at Charleston's and a visit with friends at Barnes & Noble. The rain continued Saturday during the Bulldog Jog with the 5K route altered due to flooding of the canal, the best part of the run, along the north edge of campus! The out and back adjusted route was still fun with 320 participants. Rose Anne ran the entire 5K (first time) and set a PR; I was recognized as the "oldest participating Butler alum" and awarded a $50.00 Athletic Annex Gift Certificate. Rose Anne enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with family and friends who attended Jennifer's baby shower! Yes, it was still raining!!!! During the shower, I ventured back to Indy for a supply of Bagel Fair bagels . . .and a few White Castles for the road! After the shower, Rose Anne's family assembled at Carolyn & Walker's for a great visit and pasta. Yes, the trip home was in the rain, interspersed with some snow showers! A soggy, but delightful weekend!
