"Happy Father's Day" . . . . Wishing all Fathers, both family & friends, a peaceful day! Rose Anne and I had a quiet day at home, received some great items for running, grilling, gardening, and keeping track of the weather. . . . cards, phone calls, and a couple of special shirts commemorating the Butler B-Ball season and the start of the 2010 ND football season! Thanks . . . Rosie, Cecilia, Mike, Mindy, Louie, Wes, Cara and their families . . . for a great day! And Robert P. . . . . . I did play some jazz for you! "Give me a little volume, Son!" Ultimately, Thank You to our Almighty Father for the countless Blessings He continues to bestow on us.

Saturday was the 4th Annual Run with the Pack 5K benefitting Pets without Parents Animal Shelter of Clintonville. Dogs of all sizes brought their parents to run & play at the Scioto Audubon Park. Rosie and I elected to leave Maddie home this time, but brought back two large goodie bags full of doggie treats. Again, Madds reaped the rewards w/o the work! High temps and humidity didn't prevent 124 2-legged runners and at least 50 4-legged sprinters from completing the trail run along the Scioto River. Rosie was 3rd in her age group . . and "Grandpa" was the oldest human runner . . . . However, I'll bet there were a few "senior dogs" older! No PRs today, but a "fun" morning with "Man's Best Friend"!

Cathedral Irish Baseball . . . Good Luck to the Cathedral Irish baseball team this weekend as they play Fort Wayne Carroll Saturday, June 19, 8:00PM at Victory Field for the IHSAA 4A State Baseball Championship! Go Irish!

Aiden becomes a summer "youth Bulldog" . . . . Aiden looks like he had a great time with Coach Stevens and team members at the Butler Bulldog Summer Youth Basketball Camp earlier this week . . . he even has an autographed basketball from the NCAA runner-ups! Do think Grandpa can talk him out of it?? "Cool camp" . . . Mindy added!

Triathlon . . . Daughter Mindy Muska completed a women's Triathlon in Chicago this past weekend with her long time friend, Holly! Mindy stated her first triathlon "was quite an experience", completing the 750 meter swim, 14.1 mile bike ride, and 3.1 mile run (PR for 5K-7:00 mi pace) in the top 19% of the 75 competitors! She indicated it was something she "will continue . . but need a break from training!" Congratulations Mindy!

Graduation Day . . . Goodbye Pre-school; Hello Kindergarten! Saturday was the 2010 Little Angels Daycare and Preschool Graduation at White River Baptist Church in Whiteland IN. Riley joined 26 others as they presented a graduation song, accepted their diplomas and turned their tassels in the presence of their parents, siblings, grandparents, and friends. Riley stated he wasn't quite ready to join the workforce yet . . . he'd rather enjoy his presents, graduation cake, and a summer of play!

Graduation Day for Grandson Ryan Hinkle from Zionsville HS. Rose Anne's nephew, Jack Treesh, graduated from Bishop Chatard H.S. last Sunday . . God Bless both of them!
